Who Should Take AIF?
Everyone can benefit from learning the AI Practitioner material. Whether you should actually take the exam depends on your background:
- Complete beginners — Yes. AIF is designed for you. It covers AI/ML concepts without assuming deep technical skills.
- Students — Yes. Foundational level with no strict prerequisites.
- Experienced ML practitioners — You may already know this material. Consider going directly to ML Engineer Associate.
- Existing cloud professionals — Learning the material builds AI literacy; taking the exam is optional.
Learning the material is valuable regardless of whether you take the certification.
